For years various captive industry associations have been working on a concept that was initially introduced in part by NRRA: Putting a Unified Face on the Captive Insurance Industry.
This year at the Vermont Captive Insurance Association’s (VCIA) first-ever virtual conference, that concept was realized with almost 40 of the volunteer speakers and presenters also being members and sponsors of NRRA.
In addition, the concept was made real with the presence of students from various universities who were given complimentary invitations to attend the event. (In 2018, NRRA started working with university students through our Collegiate Research Initiative Shadow Program — CRISP.)
